The Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Exam is administered by PSI in two portions – 80 national questions and 40 Virginia questions, with 150 minutes in total. What does the Virginia salesperson exam cover?
The PSI-administered exam has two sections: 80 national questions covering real estate principles, contracts, financing and federal fair-housing rules, and 40 Virginia questions covering Real Estate Board regulations, brokerage relationships, the Residential Property Disclosure Act and the Virginia Fair Housing Law. You get 150 minutes in total.
What score do I need to pass?
You must pass both portions separately – 70% on the national section (56 of 80) and 75% on the Virginia section (30 of 40). Failing either one means retaking that portion, so don't let the state law section slide.
Are the question sets and exams really free?
