What does the IL broker exam cover?
The PSI-administered exam has two sections: a national portion covering real estate principles, contracts, financing and federal fair-housing rules, and an Illinois portion covering property ownership, valuation & financing, contracts & agency, disclosures, property management & transfer, and practice & licensing laws.
Do I need pre-licensing education first?
Yes. You must complete 90 hours of approved pre-licensing education at an approved school and submit your application before scheduling the exam through PSI.
