MA Board of Registration
The Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson Examination is the state-required licensing test administered by PSI on behalf of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. It is a computer-based, closed-book multiple-choice test with a general portion and a Massachusetts state portion. Candidates must complete 40 hours of approved pre-licensing education at a Board-approved school before sitting for the exam. The state portion focuses on Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 112 (sections 87PP-87DDD), the Board's regulations at 254 CMR, agency disclosure requirements, and Massachusetts consumer protection rules.
